I am a freelance artist, working in the mediums of acting for film and stage plus dance and writing for theatre. My movement process and written works come from my own life experience and stories encountered. From this base, I start with improvisation and carve my way to concrete material.

As a second-generation of Asian migrants and 5th generation Pakeha, having grown up in Aotearoa, New Zealand surrounded by many "third culture kids", I have always had a strong interest in the influence of sub-societal pressure.

I speak Mandarin as my second language fluently and have a passion for dance where it empowers survivors, refugees and others. I am passionate about representation of "third culture kids" (both cultural in experience and multiethnic) being represented in works that I both create and collaborate with.

I am currently working towards projects that address our environmental situation, life choices and cultural interactions. In my address of these, I aim to show that we, as humans, are not so different from one another and yet, in the end, you are your own person.
