Born in Vancouver, Canada and raised in New Zealand, Natania combines her North and South Pacific roots to create and draw from in her art.

She has been fortunate enough to live in Auckland, Beijing, Vancouver and New York in the last few years, using the best of her time to soak up the surrounding sub-cultures while studying dance and acting. Natania has training in Limon Modern technique, Ballet, Old-school HipHop, Popping and Classical Theatre. She is completely fluent in Mandarin, Chinese (ridiculously bilingual in her own version of it also) and is an avid writer. One of the highlights of her last few years was interpreting for the renowned Popping dancer, Sweepy, as well as other influential dancers, at Beijing's Modern Music Academy in 2013.

Natania currently supports herself through film work, freelance translation, drama and dance teaching for children and very shy adults, as well as selling her earring art. Natania’s recent projects have included staging her play A Study of Bad Accents at the New Zealand Fringe Festival, as well as publishing her Guide to China: How to China.  Her next project includes: finding an agent for her book The China Experiment; while creating her own dance works. She welcomes serious inquires about representation for both performing and writing.
