Earring Care

Please look after your new babies well. Do not wash them. After first purchase, use a cotton bud to clean the stud parts with a little water or rubbing alcohol, tilting stud down (keeping moisture away from earring) and place on a tissue on a smooth surface to dry. If you should spill something on them, use a slightly damp wash cloth to remove stains. When not wearing them, keep them hanging or in a box.

Earring Wear

For earrings with studs-Earrings are delicate and cannot be yanked when being put on. Butterflies must be delicately wriggled off the studs, while holding the base of the stud and earring it is connected to. Insert the earring into the piercing. Put the butterfly on the stud in the same way it was removed.

Ear Sensitivity

While some earrings are paired with hypoglycemic studs, anyone with sensitivities or eczema in ear or neck area or, with shellfish allergies or chronic hay fever; is not advised to purchase this current set of earrings.

Durability

Depending on care, the current stock of craft earrings should last around 5 years or more. My own ones have survived 10 years, 5 accidental showers and being caught in objects. However, each earring is it's own case. Purchases of current stock is final and no refunds available. Custom made earrings come with a free fix in the first 6 months provided earring is within the same city.

My stud broke, can I just fix it myself?

If you've pulled off the stud away from the design, you can glue it back on yourself if you like. A glue gun or rapid drying glue does NOT work. Sticky white craft glue that dries clear is best. Purchase from your art store.

I wasn't careful and ripped my origami, help!

Time for some fun! You can make a new origami yourself and replace it into the design. Be sure to keep the current origami attached to the rest of the earring (if it wasnt torn away) so you can see how it was incorporated. If you're struggling, feel free to shoot me a message via the contact form.
